Kuala Lumpur is the main gateway to Malaysia. It is termed as the Federal Territory of Malaysia. The name Kuala Lumpur means ‘muddy confluence’ founded by a member of Royal Family of Selangor. Kuala Lumpur is ranked as one of the New 7 Wonders Cities and named as World Book Capital 2020 by the UNESCO.
Kuala Lumpur contains a tropical type of climate that is warm and sunny with bounteous rainfall. Usually rain occurs during the northeast monsoon period in between October to March and the month of June to July has dry weather. Its temperatures remain constant between 31 and 33 °C. The easiest way is probably the taxi and monorail (KL Monorail operates within KLCC) and the bus (the cheapest mode of transport in Kuala Lumpur).
