Biography
Takanori Takebe is a Japanese physician-scientist and regenerative medicine researcher best known for pioneering work in stem-cell-derived organoids and tissue engineering. He gained international recognition for creating one of the first vascularized human liver buds from induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells and has become a leading figure in organoid medicine, translational biotechnology, and future healthcare design.
